The Bald Dude’s dementia is progressing and he just had his medication changed again.
There was an incident the other day where he was outside in the parking lot of the apt complex where we live by himself, and he was terrified and had no idea where he was.
He is on new medication now and is calmer and I would like to say there is an improvement but unfortunately as far as memory and being present more, it hasn’t mae a lot of difference in those areas.
This disease steals a persons soul.
I see him slowly slipping further and further away.
So sad to hear this — dementia is a nasty disease!

Yes Janet it is and it steals from the loved ones of the one who it takes.

I wish there was a dislike button here– I am so sorry. I think you portrayed it vividly b/c it does steal who a person is..Prayers, love and hugs.

This makes me so sad! 😦 It made me cry to think about him going through the fear. 😦
I have been thinking of him so often and praying for him and sending good wishes and love his way. I look up to him, and to you, SweetSisterFriend…you have both been an inspiration and an encouragement and a joy to me for many years. I love you both!
I’m so glad he has you. Keep doing what you’re doing…loving him, helping him feel safe, etc. You are amazing! 🙂
Please give My Alien Bro a hug, and a kiss on the head! Tell him I got my tin foil hat on and I’m ready to go! 😉 😛
HUGS and ❤ !!! 🙂
